Addendum to Appendix D: Guidelines for Drawings

It was decided in a TS meeting on February 23, 2006, for both rare book and manuscript catalogers to use the same genre term for drawings and to distinguish between unpublished and published as follows:

Unpublished original drawings:

2 Comments

  1. The subfield markers are dollar signs ($) instead of pipes (|) on this page because the pipes were causing major formatting problems. (The pipe character is used for marking table cells in wiki syntax.) Anyone is welcome to try replacing the dollar signs if they are so inclined.

  2. Some of the terms above are linked to the RBMS Controlled Vocabularies site as an experiment. This is not something that needs to be done; it is just something that I was testing. You are welcome to remove the links OR to add more.
