The FAS Digitization Review Committee (DRC) is responsible for reviewing collections digitization requests from FAS libraries and units, and recommending which FAS/HCL projects should be funded, or partially funded, with the FAS/HCL collections reformatting allocations.
Current call for proposals
DRC is now accepting proposals for FY19 collections digitization projects.
Proposals should be submitted using the Digitization Project Description form. Please specify potential funding sources, such as local library/unit budgets, external funding, and/or the digitization allocation for FAS libraries.
Following submission, proposals will be reviewed by the DRC, and requestors will be invited to a DRC meeting to discuss their projects.
The DRC welcomes proposals in support of current faculty research, teaching, and learning, as well as projects that enhance access to collections at risk due to format or condition. Digitization workflows have already been established in many areas, including audio, video, photograph collections, maps and atlases, music scores, and pamphlets.
Note: DRC members must login to access project proposals.
