Welcome to the UX @ Harvard Library Wiki

This wiki contains project documentation, templates for User Experience (UX) methods, and resources for conducting user tests. This wiki is maintained by the staff of the User Research Center at Harvard Library.

UX is much more than usability testing. The library user experience includes the way users interact with library services, spaces, and resources in-person and online.

User Research Center (URC) at Harvard Library

The User Research Center at Harvard Library (located in Lamont Library) is a usability and accessibility testing lab available to Harvard affiliates that can be used to conduct a variety of user tests such as focus groups and interviews.

Equipment and tools are also available for testing for compliance with accessibility standards.

Email libraryux@harvard.edu to meet with staff, plan a study, and attend training sessions.

You can find information about using the URC space and borrowing equipment for your studies on User Research Center's website.
