This presentation provided an overview of the Linked Jazz Project (http://linkedjazz.org/) with a focus on its development phases, from the creation of linked data from textual materials to the building of applications for visualizing the data as social networks. Linked Jazz will serve as a case study to share the lessons learned in applying Linked Open Data principles and technology to digital cultural resources and ultimately contribute to building best practices for the LODLAM (Linked Open Data for Libraries, Archives and Museums) community.
